The Green Bay Packers Have Decided To Sign Vince Young

(NFL) Vince Young will sign a 1-year deal with #Packers.

Who thought it was a good idea for Vince Young to sign a one-year-deal with the Green Bay Packers? The Packers brought Young in for a tryout today and the UT Alum impressed enough to earn his keep as Aaron Rodgers’ understudy.

This is definetly not a move GB would make, but the Packer have decided to give troubled quarterback a shot at football life in GB.

Young was drafted 3rd overall by Tennessee in the 2006 NFL Draft. His career got off to an auspicious start and VY was named the Offensive Rookie of the Year in 2006.

Vince Young went through struggle with the Titans before packing up and moving on to Philadelphia as a back up quarterback. Young spent only one season in the City of Brotherly Love, going 1-2 as a starter.

Last season the Bills took a flyer on Young but he never played for them. Now it seems that the Packers will roll the dice and take a gamble on the 2x Rose Bowl MVP.
