MRI Confirms Russell Wilson Sprained MCL

(NFL) An MRI confirmed Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson has suffered a sprained MCL in his left knee.

It was said that the QB “feels great” and is recovering well after the injury, which came Sunday only two weeks after Wilson sprained his right ankle. The quarterback is “moving around walking fine,” Carroll stated. “Can’t tell anything (happened).”Carroll said he anticipates Wilson could play in Week 4 against the New York Jets with a brace on, but thinks the Seahawks may opt to rest him.

Seahawks has a Week 5 bye, so sitting Wilson would give the passer two full weeks to get healthy.
