(NFL) With being suspended indefinitely the Line backer Lawrence Timmons could possibly lose out on guaranteed money.
It was reported that Timmons went AWOL over the weekend, missing the Dolphins’ Week 2 game against the Los Angeles Chargers, which led the organization to file a missing persons.
He apparently failed to return for the team mandated curfew on Saturday night, and authorities located him at Los Angeles International Airport early Sunday morning. Timmons was attempting to catch a flight to visit his child in Pennsylvania.
It just seems like Timmons was dealing with a personal issue, which isn’t far fetched being that he’s human and deals with real life situations out side of football. But it’s his lack of professionalism that bothered the Dolphins, who have now suspended him.
Reporters are now saying the Dolphins will likely try to recoup some of the guaranteed money they gave Timmons.
