(The Lyfe News) The Minnesota Vikings better known as having the highest arrest record of all the team in the NFL. In a week that has seen the team deal with its star player, first Adrian Peterson, for child abuse… Now their wide receiver Jerome Simpson is suspended.
Right now he’s currently serving a three game suspension for a DUI he picked up last year, Simpson yet again is in trouble with the law. Hennepin County court records indicate that Simpson was pulled over at a traffic stop, and although he was not arrested, he was charged with marijuana possession, open bottle and violating terms of a limited drivers license.
Simpson already has had two suspensions for substance abuse issues in the NFL, and a third wouldn’t bode well for him seeing the field any time soon.
Simpson has a November 3rd court date for the offense.
