(The Lyfe News) The Cleveland Browns have released RB Ben Tate.
In a press release from the Browns, General Manager Ray Farmer was quoted as saying, “With all the transactions we make while constructing our roster, it will always be our intent to do what is best for our football team.” “This move is no different and we wish Ben the best going forward.”
Tate started six of the eight games he appeared he played in this season. He rushed 333 yards with four touchdowns and added nine receptions for 60 yards.
There was talk that Tate was becoming a bad fit in the locker room. He wasn’t getting the playing time and was complaining about the playing time.
